Free CogAT verbal analogy worksheets

CogAT · Verbal analogies · Grades 3–8

A verbal analogy is a word relationship. The item looks like "glove is to hand as boot is to …", and the choices are words. You pick the word that finishes the same kind of pair. QuizPrint starts these at Grade 3 (Level 9) and keeps them through Grade 8 (Level 13/14). Grades 1 and 2 use picture analogies instead. The sample is Grade 5. Mixed-analogy items from the reasoning bank can appear in the same set. QuizPrint is not affiliated with Riverside Insights, and these worksheets are not official CogAT questions.
