Free CogAT picture classification worksheets

CogAT · Picture classification · Grades 1–2

Picture classification asks which drawing belongs with a group. Three pictures share an idea, and the choices offer a drawing that fits and drawings that do not. It is the Grade 1 and Grade 2 form of verbal classification. QuizPrint does not use it from Grade 3 upward; those grades get a word that does not belong. The sample is Grade 2, so you can see a set that is a step past the first Grade 1 sheet. QuizPrint is not affiliated with Riverside Insights, and these worksheets are not official CogAT questions.

Common questions

How is picture classification different from a picture analogy?
Classification asks which picture belongs in a set. An analogy asks you to copy a relationship from one pair onto a new picture.
Is this worksheet for Grade 3?
No. Grade 3 verbal classification uses words. Open the verbal classification page for that.
